Kimberly Clarida is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Educational Administration at Michigan State University. Her research agenda hinges on examining the role of organizations and policy implementation in​ (re)producing educational (in)equity for Black and Brown school leaders and ​how district, state, and federal policies impact racial​ and educational equity for Black and Brown students.​ Her research interests include education policy, school leadership, and historical & sociocultural contexts in education. She excels in qualitative research methodologies, including case development, interviews, and data analysis. Her work has been published in the Bloomsbury Handbook of Rural Education in the USA, Teachers College Record, Journal of Cases in Educational Leadership, and Leadership and Policy in Schools.
