Kimberley Crofts

Dr Kimberley Crofts is an academic researcher, engagement professional, and strategic design specialist. She specialises in energy transitions, industrial decarbonisations, regional development, collaborative planning, and transition design.

She has over 15 years experience in leading qualitative research, stakeholder engagement, and design-led strategy projects. Her doctoral thesis explored the role of public participation and design in energy transitions with a focus on the coal phase-out in the Hunter Valley.
