Kim Dalton is a screen and digital content, broadcast and public policy professional with over 40 years experience in the Australian and international screen industries. He produced award winning television dramas and documentaries before moving into the areas of financing and international sales and distribution. As CEO of the AFC, Kim led the policy debate around Australian content on television. As Director of TV, Kim lead the ABC TV into the digital era, launched iView, Australia’s most successful catch-up service, and significantly increased its funding and output of Australian content. Kim is now a company director, executive coach and consultant with a range of commitments and clients in Australia and Asia. He is Chair of the Asian Animation Summit, a Board member of Screenrights and December Media and a member of the Academic Board of NIDA. In 2007 Kim was awarded an OAM for service to the film and television industry in policy, in assistance to Indigenous producers and in the promotion of emerging visual technology.
