Kieran's research explores issues related to language use in high-performance sporting contexts. His current research interests are in the areas of managing professional relationships in sports teams, building empowering team environments, and communicating effectively under pressure during live sporting events. He also applies his research findings and has helped some of the world’s biggest sporting teams and organisations consider the role and impact of language choices in their high-performance sporting contexts.
