Kerry McGannon

Professor McGannon's research program advances the use of qualitative research methodologies to understand sport and physical activity behaviour and culture. Research streams explore critical interpretations of sport and psycho-social experiences and the media's role in impacting identity in relation to sport and health.​

This research has been supported by grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Social Sciences Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), Advanced Olympic Research Grant Programme, and the Centre for Research in Occupational Safety and Health (CROSH) at Laurentian University.
