Kent Roach is a Professor of Law at the University of Toronto. He is a former law clerk to Justice Bertha Wilson of the Supreme Court of Canada and been editor-in-chief of the Criminal Law Quarterly since 1998. In 2002, he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. In 2015, he was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada and he won the 2017 Molson Prize for contributions to the social sciences and humanities. He has written widely on wrongful convictions and is the co-founder of the Canadian Registry of Wrongful Convictions.
