Kenny Ching is a researcher specializing in organizational behavior, people analytics, and entrepreneurship, with a strong emphasis on advanced econometrics and big data research methodologies. His expertise spans the digital economy, including areas such as Internet video, sports analytics, Web-3, and electronic gaming, along with a deep understanding of Southeast Asian geography. His research has been widely published in leading journals, including Organization Science, Research Policy, and Industrial & Corporate Change.
Kenny is also an award-winning educator, having taught courses in general business strategy, technology management, entrepreneurship, and the digital economy. He has collaborated with prominent organizations like Manticore Games and Amazon, bringing his insights into practice. Before transitioning to academia, Kenny accumulated extensive experience in government and venture capital roles across the US, UK, and Singapore, most recently serving as a fund manager for a $30 million early-stage venture fund. He received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
