Ken Angielczyk is the MacArthur Curator of Paleomammalogy at the Field Museum of Natural History and a lecturer in the Committee on Evolutionary Biology graduate program at the University of Chicago. His research focuses on the paleobiology of the ancient forerunners of mammals (non-mammalian synapsids), and he is author or co-author of over 125 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, including works in Nature, Science, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, and Proceedings of the Royal Society B. Ken received a B.S. in Biology and Geology from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the California Academy of Sciences and the University of Bristol before starting at the Field Museum in 2007.
