I hold a PhD in international relations from the University of Melbourne, Australia. I am currently a research associate at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, University of Cambridge, where I conduct research on how to best govern catastrophic and existential risks. My broader research interests include the global politics of sustainable development, and Africa’s evolving role in geopolitics.
