Ken Wilson

(he/they)

I am a settler-descendant who grew up in the Haldimand Tract in southwestern Ontario. I now live on Treaty 4 territory in oskana kâ-asastêki (Regina, Saskatchewan), where I am an assistant professor in the Department of English and Creative Writing at the University of Regina. My recent book, Walking the Bypass: Notes on Place from the Side of the Road, is my first; its manuscript won the 2022 City of Regina Writing Award. My second book, Walking Well: Trails, Paths, Pilgrimages, will appear in 2026. I have published creative nonfiction and poetry; my academic publications include articles and book chapters on pilgrimage, Canadian writing, territorial acknowledgements, and walking as a mode of performance.
