Kelly Richards

Dr Kelly Richards is Professor and Australian Research Council Future Fellow in the School of Justice at Queensland University of Technology. Her research focuses primarily on sexual violence (especially child sexual abuse) and Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA). In 2010, Kelly was awarded the ACT Government Office for Women Audrey Fagan Churchill Fellowship to study restorative measures for the reintegration of child sex offenders in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. In 2020 she was conferred a Fulbright Senior Scholar Award to progress her research on victim/survivors of sexual violence and CoSA in the USA. Her Future Fellowship project investigates the motivations of perpetrators of child sexual abuse.
