Keith Raymond Harris

Dr. Keith Raymond Harris is a philosopher specializing in applied epistemology and the metaphysics of the mind and the self. He is the author of Misinformation, Content Moderation, and Epistemology: Protecting Knowledge. He has published work on conspiracy theories, deep fakes, virtue epistemology, the extended mind hypothesis, group minds, and other topics in epistemology and related areas. His recent articles include "“AI or Your Lying Eyes: Some Shortcomings of Automatic Deepfake Detectors,” “Where Conspiracy Theories Come From, What They Do, and What To Do About Them,” and “Beyond Belief: On Disinformation and Manipulation."

He is a member of the Knowledge In Crisis project at the University of Vienna.
