Tēnā koutou, I am a māmā (mother), kairangahau (researcher), kaiako (teacher), and kaihoahoa hoahoanga (architectural designer). I am currently a Doctoral Candidate with the MĀPIHI research centre at Waipapa Taumata Rau the University of Auckland, researching Kāinga Relations: The Governance of Digital Architectural Systems. Alongside my doctoral mahi (work), I am part of the Ageing with Mana and Mate Wareware Design Aotearoa projects with the Co-Create Ageing Research Centre also at Waipapa Taumata Rau, working alongside Dr Kelly Klink, Alzheimer's NZ and The Village Architect. I also tutor in the School of Future Environments at Te Wānanga Aronui o Tāmaki Makau Rau (A.U.T), supporting tauira in wānanga and architectural theoryl. In 2025, I completed full-time study at Te Wānanga Takiura, gaining a diploma in oral te reo Māori fluency.
