Microbiologist specialising in antimicrobial resistance (AMR), with expertise in functional genomics, drug discovery and resistance evolution.
She conducted a PhD researching the evolution of colistin resistance in the bacterial species Acinetobacter baumannii and uncovered how to disrupt the mechanisms these bacteria use to evade this last-resort antibiotic. Prior to her PhD, she studies bioscience at Brunel University of London.
