Kaveri Qureshi

Dr Kaveri Qureshi is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Social and Political Science at the University of Edinburgh, and Associate Director of GENDER.ED, the university's hub for gender and sexuality studies.

Her research interests lie between critical public health, anthropology and sociology. Her research is primarily in the UK, with minoritised South Asian populations, and in India and Pakistan. She works on intersectional inequalities in health and work; family and intimate life; and relationships between health and family. She also engages in wider collaborative research, leading lines of inquiry around intersectional inequalities and coloniality.
