- Postdoctoral Research Fellow & Lecturer, Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing, UNSW
I’m a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) at UNSW, exploring how lifestyle choices, ageing attitudes, and mental health factors like depression and anxiety shape dementia risk. My work focuses on understanding early warning signs of cognitive decline and early intervention strategies.
I've Coordinated three large NHMRC-funded ageing studies since 2018 and have recently taken on the role of Deputy Program Director for UNSW’s new Masters of Mental Health Practice, focusing on innovative curriculum development and collaboration. Beyond research, I’m passionate about challenging negative stereotypes and stigmas around ageing and age-related disease like dementia.
