Katy Meeuwissen

I am a PhD candidate in Education at the University of Canberra, researching teachers' conceptualisation, planning and implementation of play and play-based learning, with thesis submission planned for 2026. Having upgraded from a Masters by Research program, I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education. I currently serve as a lecturer in early childhood and primary education at the University of Canberra. My research profile includes three peer-reviewed publications (two published, one recently accepted), demonstrating active engagement in educational research and scholarly dissemination.
