- Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Bioinformatics, University of Sydney
I have a PhD in Conservation Genetics, with a focus on using large and diverse data sets to inform the practical management of Australia's threatened species both in captive breeding programs and in the wild. Since graduating with my PhD, I have been employed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Bioinformatics under the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Science (CIPPS) at the University of Sydney, where I have worked on generating genetic resources for threatened species for antimicrobial peptide discovery.
