My PhD - Following Tuna: governing community through sustainability - focuses on sustainability and tuna, drawing from ethnographic fieldwork in southern Italy and interviews with environmental NGOs and marine scientists.
Since obtaining a Masters in food culture and communications from Università degli Studi di scienze gastronomiche I have worked as a freelance food writer and communications consultant.
