Karyn Allee

I am an Associate Professor of Elementary Education at Mercer University and co-director of the doctoral studies program. My research focuses on playful learning, early literacy, teacher education, and equitable, evidence-informed instruction, including how policy reforms intersect with classroom practice and children’s learning experiences. I also engage in public scholarship aimed at making research on teaching and learning more accessible to educators and communities.
