Karin Brewster

Karin Brewster is a Professor of Sociology and the William J. Serow Professor in the Center for Demography and Population Health at Florida State University. A social demographer, her research has addressed many topics that fall under the umbrella of demography and population health, including child care policy and fertility in advanced economies,sexual initiation in adolescence and young adulthood, psychological distress in Middle Eastern immigrants, and the impact of legal marriage on emotional wellbeing in same-sex couples.
