Karen Marshall

I am interested in how protein misfolding leads to cellular dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases. I currently hold a post-doctoral position at the University of Sussex examining mechanisms of neuronal cell death in Alzheimer's disease. I have over 10 years experience working in the field of neurodegeneration, ranging from biophysical studies of amyloid formation and structure, to prion transmission and cellular responses to protein self-assembly.
