Kamilla Bonnesen

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa’s Brain and Behavior Lab with a PhD in Psychology and an MPH in Epidemiology and Community Psychology. I specialize in population health with a specific focus on the experiences of women and girls, gender-based violence, and the structural and policy changes needed to foster safety and wellbeing. Methodologically, I bring expertise in advanced quantitative modeling, scale development, and public policy research, with a strong commitment to translating rigorous data into accessible public scholarship.
