Kaitlyn is a PhD candidate at the University of Western Ontario. Her doctoral work examines the shared and non-shared language deficits in children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and developmental language disorder using both electrophysiological and behavioral measures. Her research aims to increase our knowledge of how language and learning measures relate to social and communicative competencies in typical and atypical child development.
Previously, Kaitlyn completed her master's in Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Ryan Stevenson where she examined language, learning, and social communication in children and young adults with varying levels of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD.
