K.O. Chong-Gossard

I have taught Ancient Greek & Latin at all levels at the University of Melbourne for the past 25 years, and in fact taught Books 6 and 23 of the Odyssey in Greek to 2nd-year undergraduates as recently as 2025. My research has focused on women in ancient Greek tragedy (especially Euripides), and on the reception of ancient Roman tragedy and comedy in the 14th and 15th centuries in Europe. I've also worked with the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority on the redesign of the VCE Classical Studies exam, and am the Honorary Treasurer of the Classical Association of Victoria.
