Justin Colson specialises in digital and spatial approaches to the history of late medieval and early modern towns and cities, with a focus on London. Justin’s research explores urban life and communities through a range of social, economic, and cultural lenses. He co-edited Cities and Solidarities (Routledge, 2017) with A. van Steensel, and has published articles on spatial history, guilds, and occupations in journals including English Historical Review and Economic History Review. He is currently completing a monograph entitled “Neighbourhood, Networks, and Communities in Late Medieval London”.
