As a recent PhD graduate from Western University, my program of research involves exploring the healthy development and adaptation of equity-denied populations, including children and families who have experienced trauma and adversity. As an equity researcher, my methods are grounded in an intersectional lens wherein I focus on how the various mechanisms of marginalization impact health and wellbeing.
