Judith Brocklehurst

I am an artist, lecturer and artist educator, my sculptural practice has always played a role in my research and teaching. I completed my PhD at UCL in 2018, which examined monuments, complex political urban environments through Social Media photography. Having studied in Dresden, I also have an interest in the parallel modernisms of Eastern Europe.

I have worked in gallery education and participatory art for many years. Through which I have gained knowledge on the role of contemporary art practice within SEND education in aiding visibility and empowerment.
