Joy Kehinde Adebisi

Currently pursuing a PhD in Geography and Environment at Western University, Canada, where research focuses on predicting dryland soil carbon sequestration under climate change and understanding rainfall-induced ecosystem respiration dynamics (Birch Effect) using flux tower observations, environmental datasets, and ecosystem modelling approaches. Experienced in biogeochemistry, carbon flux analysis, greenhouse gas dynamics, remote sensing, GIS applications, environmental data analysis, and ecological modelling. Strong background in interdisciplinary environmental research across Africa and Europe, with experience in international research collaborations through the National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT), ICOS (Integrated Carbon Observation System) and the University of Eastern Finland. Combines scientific research, quantitative analysis, environmental monitoring, teaching, and stakeholder engagement to address climate and ecosystem sustainability challenges.
