Joseph W. Reustle

Dr. Reustle is an Oglala Lakota marine ecologist at Hampton University. He received his Ph.D. in Marine Biology from the SMEE lab at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi in May of 2020 where he studied community ecology, predator-prey interactions, and marine parasitology. Prior to Texas bays and estuaries, Dr. Reustle worked within the rocky-intertidal of his home-state of California. He was also an NSF GRFP awardee and remains an active member of AGEP-TxARM and SACNAS.
