José A. Morales García

José A. Morales-García is a neurobiologist at the Complutense University of Madrid, where he leads research into preclinical models of neurological disorders. His work focuses on understanding diseases like Parkinsonism to develop new treatments that protect and regenerate the brain.

After earning his PhD summa cum laude at the Autonomous University of Madrid, he trained in leading research centers in Germany and Spain. He is also a dedicated educator teaching neuroscience to medical students, master’s programs in pharmacology, molecular biomedicine, and science communication.

Passionate about bringing science to everyone, José is an active public speaker and organizer of outreach events that connect cutting-edge research with society.
