John Whitton

John has a multi-disciplinary background in the Natural and Social Sciences with expertise in developing and applying novel social science research methods across these disciplines, in both academic and practice-based settings. He works extensively with farmers in the UK and Kenya, to support them in the transition to sustainable practices. He also works with young people in Kenyan agroforestry communities to support them into sustainable forms of employment – away from activities that focus on deforestation.
