John Taylor (Jack) is a cultural and medical anthropologist whose ethnographic writing engages with diverse critical theory to examine the everyday joys and struggles of human experience. He researches and publishes on a wide range of topics including narrative and medical experience, religion and spirituality, gender relations with a focus on masculinities, human rights in sociopolitical context, tourism and authenticity.
