John Sibanda is a Law and Commerce graduate from Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. As a Research Assistant within the Faculty of Law, he has contributed to academic and policy projects on Pacific legal issues, privacy law, access to justice for marginalised communities, and financial inclusion for justice-impacted individuals. His work focuses on the intersection of public and international law, particularly climate change and Small Island Developing States, the relationship between state and customary legal systems in postcolonial contexts, and the evolving role of competition law in the digital economy.
