Professor John Martin is a clinician scientist who now works on the activation of T regulatory lymphocytes in disease and also on the evolution of the megakaryocyte-platelet system. Also autoimmune disease. He served on the Home Office animal procedures committee for eight years. He has worked on many species of animals in research from the limulus crab to the non-human primate. He has published on clinical trials in heart disease and also in Covid-19. Founded Ark Therapeutics, listed London Stock Exchange 2004. Published 350 articles.
He is a published poet.
