John J. Walsh

Assoc Prof John J. Walsh, BA (Mod.), PhD, is an Associate Director of the NatPro Centre at Trinity College Dublin. His research is conducted across many fields with particular emphasis placed on the phytochemical and biological evaluation of Irish bogland plants and related species. Other aspects of his research are focused on the design and synthesis of hybrid-based compounds, “designed multiple ligands” and targeted therapies and their subsequent in vitro and in vivo evaluation in a range of disease models.
