John Doyle

My research interests focus on creative non-fiction, digital journalism and documentary practices. I am currently working on a number of research areas.

One strand examines archival documentary practices with a focus on remixed media. Another strand explores sporting and music subcultures, with a current focus on how diasporic sound cultures interact with sporting environments.

An emerging strand of practice-orientated research is focused on the Environmental Humanities, coastal place and space, environmental media and associated forms of creative non-fiction, digital journalism and documentary.
