I am an experimental psychologist specialising in human vision, perception, and cognition. My recent work examines how perceptual clutter, cognitive load, stress, and training shape performance and situational awareness in demanding real and virtual environments. I also conduct applied research aimed at improving residual visual function for people with central vision loss. My collaborators span emergency services, defence, and transportation sectors.
