Joeva Sean Rock is an assistant professor of anthropology at Stony Brook University. Her research focuses on the politics of development, examining how actors across scale shape foodways, agricultural technologies, and environments. She is the author of "We are not starving: The Struggle for Food Sovereignty in Ghana" (Michigan State Press 2022) and was the recipient of the 2024 Margaret Mead Award.
