My name is Jingyi Zhang, and I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alberta. I earned my Master’s degree in California, where I studied family bilingual and bicultural socialization among Latino and Asian youth. My current research focuses on family acculturation, particularly the acculturation gaps within Chinese immigrant couple dyads. In addition to my research, I teach courses in statistics in psychology and adolescent development.
