Jhordanne Jones

Jhordanne Jones is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of the West Indies, Mona. As a 2022-2024 NOAA Climate & Global Change postdoc fellow, her previous affiliations include Purdue University. Her research examines the degree of predictability achieved from large-scale environmental phenomena for seasonal tropical cyclone activity. Tools being used to explore this TC-environment predictability are global reanalysis datasets, climate model output, and simulations.
