- Postdoctoral Researcher, Swansea University
I currently work at Swansea University in the Biosciences Technical team.
Previously worked as a Scientific Officer within the Comparative Immunology and Pathobiology group at Swansea University, working as part of the BlueFish Project http://bluefishproject.com/. My research focused on diseases in the marine ecosystem, looking at disease connectivity between marine invertebrates such as crabs and slipper limpets, and the environments they live in using environmental DNA.
My PhD (Awarded by Bangor University the University of Copenhagen) research focused on ancient population genetics and species-environment interactions in different ecosystems and the influence of environmental change on species extinction. The main aim of my research was to investigate the influence of climate warming on the extinction of the Great Auk.
