Jessica Chapman is a Leverhulme Trust Doctoral Scholar at the University of East Anglia/Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, as part of the Critical Decade for Climate Change programme. Her research explores soil carbon within the UK regenerative agriculture transition using mixed methods ranging from soil science, social science, and UK agri-environment policy. Jessica holds a BA Honours in Law from Carleton University in Canada and an MSc in Climate Change, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex/Institute of Development Studies/Science Policy Research Unit. She has conducted research for small non-profits, contributed to legal advocacy work in Canada and has hands-on regenerative farming experience in both the UK and Canada.
