Jessica is an MLM, Public and International Law candidate at the Melbourne Law School and had prior completed specialist training in clinical neuroscience research (H1A) at the Florey Institute with the Melbourne Brain Centre, and a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Humanities at California State University; she was recruited to Melbourne via a doctoral candidature at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health.
She's a consultant in the area of public/private partnerships in areas of health and well-being, with a focus in alcohol and other drugs (AOD). She is an academic contributor to the Research Institute on Social Cohesion at the Department of Premier and Cabinet, Victoria. She holds a lecturing position at the Chisholm Institute for the Bachelors of Community Mental health, and Alcohol and Other Drugs, where she instructs subjects on research, public policy & law, in addition to acting as a teaching associate with the Monash University Philosophy Department for topics on metaphysics, medical ethics and philosophy of mind.
