Jesse completed his Bachelor of Science (Hons) at The University of Melbourne in 2008. He has since worked as a Research Assistant at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, before beginning his PhD in 2011, studying the immune response to chronic viral infections such as HIV-1 and Hepatitis B and C viruses.
