Jésica Delgado Sáez

Graduate in Law, with a Master’s Degree in Private Patrimonial Law and a PhD in Private Law with International Mention (awarded sobresaliente cum laude, Extraordinary Doctorate Award). Lecturer in Civil Law at the Pontifical University of Salamanca. Accredited by ANECA as Profesora Contratada Doctora. Previous roles include Profesora Ayudante Doctora at the Complutense University of Madrid and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Salamanca, alongside professional legal practice (2016–2021). Teaching experience in Civil Law and Private International Law, and supervision/examination of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral theses.
Author of a monograph published by Reus, as well as multiple book chapters and articles in leading journals (Tirant lo Blanch, Aranzadi, Dykinson, Intersentia; Actualidad Civil, Revista Jurídica de Castilla y León, Actualidad Jurídica Iberoamericana, Justicia & Derecho). Participation in competitive research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Regional Government of Castilla y León.
Research stays include pre-doctoral periods at the University of Barcelona, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (Hamburg) and the University of Porto. Postdoctoral research undertaken at the European Legal Studies Institute (Osnabrück), the Max Planck Institute (Hamburg) and the University of Valladolid.
Regular speaker at national and international conferences. Main research interests: child custody, disability and capacity, maintenance obligations, consumer law, contracts and digital property rights.
