Jeremy Orr is an adjunct professor at Michigan State University College of Law and an attorney specializing in environmental and civil rights law. Mr. Orr also serves as the director of litigation & advocacy partnerships at Earthjustice where he leads the organizational strategy on engaging and partnering with communities and stakeholders. Prior to joining Earthjustice, Mr. Orr served as a senior attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council where he focused on drinking water and source water protection. Mr. Orr has held state and federal government appointments as the Vice-Chair of the Michigan Environmental Rules Review Committee and as a member of the U.S. EPA’s National Environmental Justice Advisory Council. Mr. Orr also served as the 2022 Rappaport Center for Law and Public Policy's Senior Fellow in Residence at Boston College Law School and in 2023 was named to inaugural cohort of the Obama Foundation Leaders USA program.
