Jenny Palm

Jenny Palm is Professor and the Director of the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University. Palm has a background in political science, Science and Technology Studies (STS) and energy systems research. She was professor in Science and Technology Studies at Linköping University between 2011-2018, and became professor in Urban Governance in 2017 at Lund University. Since 2022 she is Director of the IIIEE. She conducts interdisciplinary problem-based research combining an STS approach with theories on collaborative planning, governance, energy democracy, energy justice and energy citizens. Objects of study are energy communities, energy prosumers, industrial urban symbiosis, district heating and smart grids.
