- Teaching Associate Psychology, University of Strathclyde
I am a Teaching Associate in Psychology at the University of Strathclyde, and also teach Mental Health Sciences as an Associate Lecturer at the Open University.
Previously, I have completed my PhD at the University of Aberdeen, where I researched potential effects of bilingualism on executive functioning and looked into factors contributing to the ongoing replication crisis in Psychology. I also hold an MSc in Brain Imaging Methods from the University of Glasgow and a MA in Psychology from the University of Aberdeen. Currently, I am working towards a MA in Online and Distance Learning with the Open University.
I am primarily interested in bilingualism, attention, mental health, and statistics. However, I have previously also worked on project in other areas of Psychology, e.g. social cognition.
My first book, 'The Effects of Bilingualism on Non-Linguistic Cognition: A Historic Perspectives', will appear in late 2020.
