Jennifer Browne (PhD) is an Associate Professor in the Deakin Centre for Global Preventive Health and Nutrition and the Institute for Health Transformation.

Dr Browne co-leads the Murnong Health Research Mob, a collaborative team of First Nations and non-Indigenous researchers leading a national program of work on the commercial determinants of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. The Murnong Mob works in partnership with a number of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, exemplifying Dr Browne’s commitment to research that is ethical, community-governed and directly relevant to First Nations peoples’ priorities.
